题型类别: | 优缺点(利弊分析) |
题材类别: | 住房面积 |
外教范文: | It is argued that an increasing number of people in the urban regions tend to opt for small-sized accommodations without outside spaces. Personally, I think that this tendency produces both benefits and drawbacks. (33 words)
There are several cost-related advantages of living in a small space. In developing nations, mass migrations into cities have increased the population density, leading to soaring housing prices. Therefore, it would be thriftier for new residents to rent a small apartment compared to a house with a personalized outdoor space, especially for those with low incomes. In London, for example, while a small apartment may be around 2,000 pound a month to rent, a moderate-sized house with open space costs even at least 3,000-4,000 pound per month. Additionally, individuals dwelling in small flats do not need to allocate a lot of expenditure to furniture or home maintenance, thus putting a little extra each month in the savings account. (118 words)
Despite the pros noted above, I believe that small-space living can bring cons to citizens. To begin with, living in this type of accommodation could result in a lack of privacy, exerting negative influences on an individual’s independence. For instance, it is difficult for young people to enjoy any private space outdoors other than in the crowded communal areas where they live presently in rooms of a skyscraper. Next, outdoor spaces like front yards are an ideal place to do exercise and organize family activities such as a New Year’s Party and its firework show. Dwelling in a household without any open spaces would discourage white-collar workers from doing such activities, causing them to suffer from a sedentary lifestyle. (119 words)
In conclusion, surviving in small houses or flats devoid of open spaces has beneficial and detrimental effects. However, without any financial restrictions, a house with a private yard or garden would be everyone’s dream to come true. (37 words) (In total: 307 words) 范文由环球教育英国国籍外教 Gary David 老师本人执笔创作,仅供学术交流。 |
