一、雅思口语新题评析

【口语题目】

【思路点拨】

建筑是口语的经典话题，2007考过，在2011年再次出现，也可能会是本年度上半年重点考题。modern building对于考生来说是个较难的题目，但是可以从名称、位置、外观和内部设施展开描述。要扬长避短，不善于描述外观就多讲内部设施、高度或者楼层。

第一步：想想见过哪些现代建筑，也可以在网络上搜索下，
比如:
国家体育馆National Stadium  
水立方 Water Cube
国家大剧院National Centre for the Performing Arts  
中央电视台大楼（北京）CCTV Building
上海环球金融中心 Shanghai World Financial Center
东方明珠电视塔（上海）Oriental Pearl TV Tower

第二步：锁定其中一个继续搜索，当然有机会会看看更好

The Shanghai World Financial Center is a supertallin, China. It is a mixed use skyscraper which consists of offices, hotels, conference rooms, observation decks, and shopping malls on the ground floors. Park Hyatt Shanghai is the hotel component containing 174 rooms and suites. On opening, this hotel will become the highest in the world, surpassing the Grand Hyatt Shanghai on the 53rd to 87th floors of the neighboring Jin Mao Tower….

In my mind, among all those buildings that I have ever seen, the very building that gives me the deepest impression is the Shanghai World Financial Center in lujiazui. It creates Shanghai new landmark with Oriental Pearl TV Tower and Jinmao Tower. It is 492 metres in height and has 101 floors overground, 3 floor underground.
The most distinctive feature in the design of the building is an aperture at the peak. The sky and clouds can be reflected on the glass outside of the building. I really enjoy seeing the different colors this building goes through as the weather changes. I love this building, because it is a mixed use skyscraper which consists of offices, hotels, conference rooms, observation decks, and shopping malls on the ground floors. There are 3 observation decks. The height of its lowest observation deck is 423 metres, on the 94th floor, the second is 439 metres high, on the 97th floor, named “Observatory Bridge”, and the highest is 474 metres high, on the 100th floor. The last one is my favourite. When I stand on it, I feel as if I were on the top of the world.
