在雅思阅读判断题和选择题这两个题型中，会涉及到一个普遍的说法：带有绝对词的判断题通常是错的，带有绝对词的选项通常是不选的～首先我们先知道一下哪些词才是我们的绝对词：any, all, only, every, fully, totally, entirely等这些是我们比较常见的绝对词。下面我们通过例子具体看一下是不是有绝对词答案就一定是错的或不选。

　　1. C4T3P1中的判断题第9题和第11题

　　文：Being an entrepreneur is not for everyone, nor for every street child.

　　题：Any street child can set up their own small business if given enough support.

　　分析：首先确定题目中有个any是我们的绝对词，很有可能是我们判断的考点。题目中set up their own small business对应到文中的being an entrepreneur, 文中说“不是每一个人都能成为一个企业家，也不是每一个街道小孩能成为企业家”，这样我们题目中“任何一个街道小孩都能建立他们自己的小企业如果给予足够支持的话”就于原文矛盾了，而矛盾的点就在“any”和“nor for every”。

　　文：Small loans are provided initially for purchasing fixed assets such as bicycles……As the entrepreneurs gain experience, the enterprises can be gradually expanded and consideration can be given to increasing loan amounts.

　　题：Only one fixed loan should be given to each child.

　　分析：题中only是个绝对词，说“只有一笔固定的借贷给到每一个小孩”， 而根据原文，第一句提到了“small loans”“initially”，最初会提供一笔小的借贷。然后第二句中“increasing loan amounts”，随着企业扩大，会考虑增加借贷数量。这也就和题目中的“only one”相矛盾，所以答案是FALSE.

　　2. C4T4P1中判断题第4题

　　文：No one theory can explain improvements in performance, but the most important factor has been genetics.

　　题：Improvements in athletic performance can be fully explained by genetics.

　　分析：题目中出现了fully这一绝对词，是我们这题中的考点。“fully explained by genetics”“完全由基因解释”与我们的原文“the most important factor has been genetic”相矛盾，所以答案是FALSE.

　　3. C5T1P1 中判断题第12题。

　　文：He was to be paid $1575 in installments, and from this he took money to rent 17 Gough Square in which he set up his dictionary workshop.

　　题：Johnson only received payment for his Dictionary on its completion.

　　分析：题中绝对词only。“Johnson 只在完成字典后才能收到付款”，原文中说“他会收到分期付款1575英镑”，所以题目和原文矛盾，答案为FALSE.

　　根据上面的例子来看，题目中出现绝对词的判断题答案都为FALSE. 那有没有例外呢?有!

　　例：C4T2P2中判断题第23题

　　文：Those surveyed had experienced chronic illnesses, for which orthodox medicine had been able to provide little relief.

　　题：All the patients in the 1993 Sydney survey had long-term medical complaints.

　　分析：这题中也有绝对词all，但是题中的all在我们文章中对应到“those surveyed”，能有对应，所以all这个绝对词在这题中就没有问题。long-term medical complaints对应原文的 chronic illnesses. 所以这题答案为TRUE.

　　综上来看，通过对绝对词的敏感一定程度上能帮助我们做题，判断题中通过将绝对词作为考点来判断，很多情况下答案是false，但是不是绝对，会有例外。所以在做题时不能看到绝对词就直接写答案，还是要按老师上课讲的方法踏踏实实的去做题。但在考试时间来不及的情况下，可以通过这个绝对词去猜，这样正确的几率会大很多，毕竟通过这么多题目看来出现绝对词的还是false占绝大多数。同样的，绝对词在选择题，无论单选还是多选，也有相同的作用：选项中出现绝对词的通常不选～。 同学们可以去看看具体的题目：(1)C5T1P1中的多选 ;(2)C5T1P3 中单选第37题;(3)C8T3P2中的多选题。
