1. What kind of housing/accommodation do you live in?
—To be honest, I am now living in a small flat in the city centre. Besides, Idon’t live on my own. To be more specific, I share the flat with my roommate Alice.
2. How long have you been living there?
—Actually, I have been living there for approximately two years. I moved in that flat about two years ago because I thought it would be more convenient to live in the city centre. And it turns out to be so. That’s why I think I will continue living there for a few more years.
3. Can you describe the place where you live?
—It is actually a very small flat. When you entre the flat, you will see the living room first. On the left side, there is my bathroom and kitchen. They are next to each other. On the right side of the living room, there are two bedrooms, Alice’s and mine.
4. Would you like to live in the countryside in the future?
—I guess when I am retired, I would like to live in the countryside. The reason behind this is that firstly, the air in the countryside is fresher. Besides, the pace of life is slower in the countryside. Last but not least, the housing price is much lower in the countryside, which means you can get a bigger house with the same amount of money.
5. What is the difference between living in the city and living in the countryside?
—In my opinion, it is more convenient to live in the city. First of all, it is easier to buy anything you need in the city. Plus, it is very convenient to take any form of transportation to travel around in the city. Furthermore, there are many fancy restaurants in the city, which means you can find tasty foods there easily.
6. What do people living in the countryside like to do?
—In fact, I have never thought about that question before, but I guess people living in the countryside are into playing chess and dancing in public squares. The reason behind this is that the pace of life in the countryside is rather slow, which means they probably have nothing to do except doing some entertainment activities with their friends.
7. Are there many museums in your hometown?
—Yes, there are many museums in my hometown, such as Nanjing Museum and Nanjing Yuhua Stone Museum. When I was a little girl, I visited these museums with my teachers and classmates on our school trips. I can still remember how excited I was every time we were going to visit these museums.
8. Do you think museums are useful for visitors to your hometown/country?
—Certainly yes. The museums are very useful because not only can visitors learn more about local history and culture, but also they can acquire certain knowledge of science and technology.
9. Do you think it’s suitable for museums to sell things to visitors?
—Yes, I think so. On the one hand, visitors need to buy some souvenirs for their family and friends as small gifts. On the other hand, museums also need some money to maintain the normal operation of themselves. For example, they need money to pay those workers, buy more exhibits and repair those damaged ones.

Describe a special trip you would like to go on in the future.

—To tell you the truth, when you asked me to describe a special trip I would like to go on in the future, the first one I thought of is my ideal honeymoon trip. It has always been a dream for me to go to Greece to see the Aegean Sea on my honeymoon. I have seen the Aegean Sea in a number of films and TV series. In those films, the water of the Aegean Sea is so clear that you can even see the seabed. In addition, the sea stretches away and meets the sky at the horizon. Last but not least, all the buildings along the Aegean Sea are all snow white. I am desperate to see this beautiful picture with my own eyes. Certainly I will go on this trip with my future husband. I would very much like to share the gorgeous scenery with him. During this trip, I will go swimming in the sea and enjoy the sunbath on the beach. Besides, I will also taste some local delicious foods. What’s more, I will definitely take tons of photos so that I can preserve those memorable moments. When it comes to why this will be a special trip, I think there is no need for me to explain too much. Everybody knows how important and special the honeymoon trip can be to a girl. It is not just a trip, it is much more like a symbol of romance, perfect love and happiness forever.

1. What can people benefit from travelling?
—There are a huge number of advantages of travelling. First of all, people can relax themselves and release their pressure while travelling. In addition, people can acquire some knowledge and learn more about local culture. What’s more, people can taste local yummy foods. Last but not least, people can also make some new friends with local people, as well as those visitors.
2. Do you like to travel on your own or with your family?
—To be honest, I prefer to travel with my family. The reason behind this is that on the one hand, we can experience something new and exotic together, which is very wonderful and memorable. On the other hand, if I meet some difficulties, such as getting lost and losing my money, my family can always be there and help me. This will make me feel safer and more secure.
3. Do you like to visit popular places or less-known places?
—In fact, I prefer to visit less-known places because those popular tourist destinations are always jammed with a huge number of people, which means you need to spend plenty of time queuing up and waiting. However, I am not a big fan of waiting. As a consequence, I prefer to find less-known but beautiful places to visit.
